At this point, we should just start a separate website devoted to tracking all the women this guy dates. (Editor’s note: You’re right. We should. I’m going to.) Odell Beckham’s girlfriend Zendaya Coleman isn’t necessarily his new squeeze, though. So basically this all started when they were hanging out at a Grammy party way back in February. They appeared to be very warm and close with one another. But, there was a looming figure in the background– Zendaya’s dad! Yes, it looked pretty awkward. Her dad explained that it was an “audition,” and that “when you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship.”
Well, I guess I can understand that. By the way, Zendaya is a pop singer with over 25,000,000 Instagram followers. I would have thought Odell Beckham’s girlfriend Zendaya would be old enough to “audition” him without her daddy, but I guess not! Protective fathers just want what’s best for their girls. Still, that must have been super weird to go on a date to a Grammy party with her and her dad. If I were Odell, I don’t think I’d waste my time. In fact, I’m not sure there ever was a second date. After the date, Zendaya’s dad even met up with some guys at TMZ to review the date. I kid you not. In a nutshell: he said he approves.
I think the whole incident is blown out of proportion (even though it’s weird) because the two seemingly never got together again. I wouldn’t be surprised if they “met” in some capacity after the Grammy date, but I don’t think it’d be in any relationship-seeking capacity. Odell really does not strike me as the type to settle down at age 23. Remember, Odell’s been with Amber Rose and that chick Sophie Campise. Sophie seemed like a normal(ish) girl but Amber Rose certainly isn’t. By that I mean if Odell Beckham brought Amber Rose home to his mom, she’d very likely be apprehensive about a marriage. I guess that’s why Odell Beckham’s girlfriend brought her dad along on the date in the first place!
